Arhera is a saree house in Hyderabad. We offer handloom sarees, one piece at a time. Each saree in the shop is a single piece, chosen by us for its weave, its colour and its finish.

Arhera began in Hyderabad with a simple idea: a saree should be chosen the way it is woven, one at a time. Hema Pulagam, who founded Arhera, chooses every piece herself, sourced from handloom weavers and from the dealers and cooperatives who work with them, so no two sarees in the shop are the same. When a piece is bought, it is gone; what remains is a shop that is small on purpose.
Almost every saree on arhera.in is the only one of its kind in our shop, and we mark it “Only one” when it is. There is no other size. When someone buys that piece, it is gone.
When you proceed to pay, the saree is held for you for a short while so you can complete payment. If payment is not completed, it goes back on sale.
Handloom sarees are made by hand, so colours and small details vary slightly from piece to piece. Our photographs are as true as a screen allows. If you would like to see more of a saree before you buy, message us and we will send more pictures.
